Three Lions set up Netherlands clash

England are through to the semi-finals of the Euros for a second consecutive tournament and will face the Netherlands in Dortmund on Wednesday.

The Three Lions booked their place in the last four with a 2-0 win over Sweden in the quarter-finals. Goals from Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling were enough to see off the Swedes and send England through to the semi-finals for the first time since 2021.

England will now face the Netherlands in the semi-finals, a team they have only ever played twice in tournament finals, winning the 1966 World Cup and losing the 1990 World Cup semi-final.

The Dutch will be a tough test for England, having scored nine goals in their four games at Euro 2024 so far. However, Gareth Southgate's side will be confident of victory, having won their last three games at the tournament.

The winner of the England vs Netherlands semi-final will face Spain in the final.
