WEB National League wins 6-1 in 2024 All-Star Futures Game
The 25th annual MLB All-Star Futures Game took place at Globe Life Field in Arlington Texas on July 16, 2024.
The annual MLB All-Star Futures Game is a showcase for the best up-and-coming prospects in baseball. This year's game was no different, as some of the best young players in the game took the field at Globe Life Field.
The National League came out on top in this year's game, defeating the American League 6-1.
The NL took an early lead in the game and never looked back. They scored three runs in the first inning and added two more in the second inning. The AL finally got on the board in the third inning, but it was too little, too late.
The NL's victory was due in large part to the performance of their starting pitcher, JT Ginn. Ginn pitched five scoreless innings and allowed just two hits. He also struck out eight batters. The NL bullpen was also solid, as they combined to allow just one run over the final four innings.
This was the first time the National League has won the All-Star Futures Game since 2015 so it was a special victory for the young players on the team.
