Grades and Their Significance
In the realm of Jujutsu Kaisen, power is everything. Sorcerers, cursed spirits, and cursed objects are all ranked according to their abilities, with the Grade ranking system serving as the primary metric. This system consists of four numbered ranks, from Grade 1 to Grade 4, with each rank further divided into intermediate levels.
Grade 1
Grade 1 sorcerers are considered exceptional individuals, possessing immense power and mastery over their cursed techniques. They are the most elite sorcerers, capable of handling complex missions and defeating powerful cursed spirits.
Grade 2
Grade 2 sorcerers are highly skilled and experienced, able to handle ordinary cursed spirits with ease. They serve as the backbone of the jujutsu society, performing a variety of tasks including exorcisms and investigation.
Grade 3
Grade 3 sorcerers are still in the early stages of their training but show promise for future growth. They are capable of handling minor cases of cursed spirits and assisting higher-ranked sorcerers in larger operations.
Grade 4
Grade 4 sorcerers are typically inexperienced or possess limited abilities. They often serve as support personnel, providing backup or conducting surveillance. However, even Grade 4 sorcerers can contribute significantly to the jujutsu society.
Special Grade
Above Grade 1 exists the Special Grade ranking, reserved for the most exceptional sorcerers with extraordinary power and abilities. Special Grade sorcerers are rare and highly sought after, often playing a pivotal role in major cases involving powerful cursed spirits.
